90/365: A Little Yard Work

Today was such a beautiful day outside.
Baby blue skies & big fluffly white clouds.

Audrey & Oliver turned out to be quite the little helpers.

Today would have been my Grandma's Birthday.
How I wish she could have met them...
she would have loved having them help her in her garden.

89/365: A Letter From Papa

Audrey got a letter today.
It was from her Papa.
She loved it so much, she brought it to bed with her.

Today Audrey helped my Mom decorate the window for Easter.

She is so proud of her handy work.

86/365: A Bridal Shower for Tiffany

My cousin Tiffany, the cute gal in the middle, is getting married next month {in Hawaii of all places!}  Today we gathered as a family to throw her a "Something Borrowed, Something Blue" Bridal Shower.    It was a wonderful afternoon that included good food & many laughs.

85/365: Musical Makeup

One of Audrey's favorite things to do with my Mom is put on makeup.
This cute little powder puff comes from a musical box.
You twist the knob.  It plays a little tune.
Audrey loves it.

84/365: One L-O-N-G Driving Day

Not wanting to repeat what happened yesterday,
we decided to head up Hwy 50 & go around to get to Reno.
Which is a good thing, since they were planning on closing down I-80 until Noon.
We left at 6 AM

Heading up Hwy 50 at 6:15 AM

9 hours later, at 3:12 PM.  Still in Nevada.

My kids love these tunnels.
We honk all the way through and scream like crazy people.
It's fun.

We finally made it to Salt Lake.  Just a little after 9 PM.

Yeah, it was a long day.

83/365: Our First Attempt

This is what we *tried* to drive through this afternoon, heading up I-80 on our way to Salt Lake City.  Needless to say, they shut down the canyon.  After waiting for 2 & a half hours in Colfax, we decided to headback home & try again in the morning.

These yummy little things are staples at our house.
The kids love them & I love that they are nutritious.
A win win!

80/365: Mel

Audrey's favorite stuffed animal is a fluffy little doggy.  Her hame is Mel.
Often when Audrey sleeps, this is what I find.

79/365: His Favorite

Two of Oliver's favorties: Buzz & our new iPad.
For a little guy, it is amazing to see how quickly he has learned his way around the iPad.  He is almost as quick as I am!

71/365: Disneyland: The Final Day

Our final day in Disneyland...  *tear*
My sister Kate came for the day & I'm tellin' ya it was soooo good to see her!
Here are my top TEN for the day

*JESSIE*
Love that Rootin' Tootin' Cowgirl!
Audrey truly had a "Disney" moment with her.  Jessie spotted Audrey while she was on her way to meet other boys & girls and pointed at Audrey.  YOU LOOK LIKE ME!  She held out her hand for Audrey & the two started to dance.  Jessie walked with Audrey all the way to her meet & greet spot, even stopping to say hello to a band that was performing.
"Look Folks, It's Jessie... and little Jessie!"
Audrey was in HEAVEN!  The smile on her face was so HUGE, it warmed my heart.  We even heard another little girl say "That little girl is SO lucky!"

The look on Oliver's face when he saw his Sundae.
I promise, we ordered the kids size sundae...

The last picture of Josh and I has a special place in my heart.
On Tuesday, March 15th it will be 10 years that Josh & I met at Disneyland.
We had our picture taken later that night at this very spot.

10 years, nine years of marriage & 2 kids later...

The happiest place on Earth!

70/365: DAY TWO!

For day numero dos at Disneyland, Uncle Jeff came down to share in the fun... and help an already tired Mom & Dad.  Once again, I couldn't decide on just one picture.  So here are my top five :)

69/365: The Day of the Princess

Our first day at Disneyland... I couldn't just choose one - so here are four of my favorites

At lunch, givin' her brother some love

"Can you twirl like me?"
Audrey was in awe.

"Look at what I can do!"
Princess Tiana was in stitches!

66/365: Little Mr. Mischief

This is Oliver.  He is quick with his hands.  Especially when Mommy's camera is around.

This picture makes me laugh.  Josh and Oliver were playing "HI-YAH!"  At the supermarket. Can't you just hear "Everybody was Kung-fu fighting... HA!"

Boys will be boys...

65/365: A Year Later

A year ago today, Audrey fell and knocked her teeth up.  Yes, up.  We thought she knocked them out, but x-rays proved a couple of days later that they were indeed up there. We didn't know what would happen to her teeth.  It was a l-o-n-g waiting game, but eventually they decided to come down.  This is Audrey a year later.  One tooth didn't come down all the way (most likely because she is a thumb sucker) but I still think she is the cutest thing ever.

64/365: Addie's Art Party

An art party - what a fun idea!
Addie, one of Audrey's friends had this fun birthday party where all of the kids got to paint on the wall to their hearts content.   The bottom picture was taken towards the end, where Audrey decided to just immerse herself in the painting.  She really had a good time.

[it did however take two adults about ten minutes to hose her down in the backyard, which resulted in her leaving the party with my cardigan on instead of her shirt - ha!]

Thanks Addie for inviting us to your party.  We had such a great time!
